Dewa Ardana is a true bootstrap success story, he came from a family with 11 children, and has been studying and making silver products for 25 years. He and his wife Jero come from Singha Raja (king lion), on the North side of the island, and in order to get the work, moved early on to Singha Padu (twin lions), the famous silver working village of Bali. Through scrimping and saving every spare rupiah, over the years his talents have helped him to buy property for a house, a small workshop and lots of koi ponds. His story is instructive to the youngest members of the village, as to what can happen if you work hard enough for something, and if the gods smile upon you, and give you business.
